What is Custom Reports?
Custom Reports help you get the specific data you need from givestar. You can choose from five default report types, apply filters to narrow down the information, save reports to run again later, and export your results in one click.
Different teams use Custom Reports in different ways, depending on the information they need.

How to create a custom column
Custom columns allow you to add identifiable columns to your events or fundraising pages, which you can then include in your Custom Reports.
Click Reports in the left-hand menu.
Under Event Columns or Fundraising Columns, click Edit, depending on where you want the column to be available.
Enter the name of the column you'd like to create. Choose a clear, recognisable name so you can easily identify it when adding it to a report.
Click Save Changes.
Once saved, your custom fields appear in your Events, Fundraising Pages and Donations reports,in Custom Reports. Use them to filter your data — for example, to see every donation to pages tagged with one campaign code.
Tip: Agree a consistent set of codes with your finance and CRM teams before you start, so everyone reports the same way.
