Note on refunds
Depends on the card issuer
Can be 2 days or 30 days
It does not depend on us
Just for your information: The refund order is immediate on our side. That means that we mark it in a transaction and the acquirer (in this case Checkout) sends it to the issuer immediately passing between the marks (it's like 3 jumps in the process). This is done via quite complex interbank files, but the delay usually comes between the time the issuer receives this information and the time it is reflected in the customer's account. In large European banks this usually takes between 1 and 3 days, while in savings banks and similar institutions it usually takes longer as they have fewer reconciliation processes. Also, DEBIT cards are usually processed faster than CREDIT cards.
