Setting up regular lawn care services with your GreenPal account is straightforward and can be done in a few easy steps. Here’s how you can schedule weekly mowing and maintenance with the lawn company you hire.

Step 1: Choose Your Lawn Service Provider

Browse your list of free quotes from the available lawn care providers in your area who want your lawn. When you find one that meets your requirements, click the "Hire Me" button next to their name to start the process.

Step 2: Enter Payment Information

  • Input Your Card Details: Enter your credit card number, expiration date, and CVC code. Ensure all details are correct to avoid any issues with payment processing.

  • It's important to note that you are entering your card details directly into the lawn company's embedded card processor account. GreenPal does not bill your card as the company you hire will bill your card from their card processor embedded on their account.

  • Note on Payment Methods: Their payment processor does not accept prepaid cards. Ensure that the card you are using is valid and has sufficient funds to cover the bid amount of the lawn service you are hiring.

Step 3: Confirm the Service

  • Service Confirmation: After entering your payment information, the lawn company you hire will not bill you immediately. They will only bill your card after you confirm that their service has been completed to your satisfaction.

  • Confirmation Email: Once you successfully hire a lawn service, you will receive a confirmation email from their account. This email is important as it confirms your arrangement and the start of your weekly service.

Step 4: Monitor Your Service

  • Check for Confirmation: If you do not receive a confirmation email, there may be an issue with the card details you entered. Double-check to make sure everything was entered correctly.

  • Troubleshooting Payment Issues: If your card is declined, it might be because your bank declined the pre-authorization from your lawn company. Try using a different card or contacting your card issuer to authorize the charges.

Step 5: Access Your Account

Log in to your account to manage your appointments or modify your service details. To do this, click on the following link: Log In to GreenPal.

Additional Tips

  • Regular Communication: It's a good practice to communicate regularly with your lawn service provider you hire. Sending them a quick message to confirm dates or any special instructions can help ensure the service meets your expectations.

With these steps, you can easily set up and maintain a weekly lawn care schedule with your free GreenPal account, ensuring your lawn stays healthy and well-maintained throughout the season.
