If you're experiencing issues with your card being declined or need to update your payment information on your lawn company's card processor account connected to GreenPal, here's a step-by-step guide to help you resolve these issues and ensure your lawn care services continue without interruption.

Steps to Update Your Payment Information

1. Check Your Card Details

Ensure that the card you are trying to use is valid and has the correct CVC number and expiration date. If your card is being declined, it could be due to incorrect information or the need to update these details.

2. Try a Different Card

If updating the CVC number and expiration date doesn’t work, try using a different, valid credit or debit card. Note that their card processor account does not accept prepaid or gift cards for security reasons.

3. Contact Your Bank

If your card is still being declined, contact your bank. Sometimes banks flag charges they don't recognize, so you'll need to approve the charge with them. Remember, the charge will appear under the name of your lawn company, not GreenPal. The lawn company you hired is billing you directly from their card processor account; GreenPal does not handle your payment information.

4. Update Your Card on File

Log into your GreenPal account using a Chrome browser from a laptop or desktop. Navigate to your payment information section to update your card details. Here is the direct link to update or change your card on file with your lawn company's account: Update Payment Information.

5. Wait for Midnight Processing

After updating your card, the lawn company you hired will attempt to process the payment again at midnight with their GreenPal account. The system will continue to try every night until the charge goes through.

Common Issues and Solutions

Bank Flagging the Charge

If your bank flags the charge because it doesn't recognize your lawn company’s name, inform them about the transaction so they can approve it.

Persistent Declines

If your card continues to be declined after updating, try another card or call your bank for further clarification. The issue could be related to the card's ability to accept the specific charge amount.
