Tips - Common Scheduling Issues
Save Changes Button Greyed Out
This issue occurs when there is a mismatch between the recurrence settings and the intended schedule. For example, a service may be set to multiple recurrence days but saved as a single occurrence, causing a configuration conflict that blocks saving.
Bi-Weekly Service Shifts to a Different Week
When changing the service day for a bi-weekly (or every-four-week) schedule, the system re-aligns the schedule based on the original start day. This can result in the service shifting to a different week to maintain the "every other week" cadence.
Changing the service recurrence does not automatically update the price. Always review and adjust the price manually before saving to ensure correct billing.
Solutions for Common Problems
Resolving the Greyed-Out Save Changes Button
Open the service you want to edit by clicking the pencil icon.
Check the recurrence settings and ensure they match the intended schedule.
If the service is set to multiple recurrence days but should be a single occurrence, unselect any additional days.
Save the changes to update the schedule.
Adjusting Bi-Weekly Service Schedules
Identify the original start day of the service.
When changing the service day (e.g., from Thursday to Monday), note that the system will re-align the schedule to maintain the bi-weekly cadence.
If the new day aligns with a different week, the upcoming occurrence may shift to the following week. This behavior ensures the recurrence pattern remains consistent.
Tips for Avoiding Scheduling Errors
Always review and update recurrence settings when editing service dates.
Understand how the system calculates recurrence patterns, especially for bi-weekly or every-four-week schedules.
Double-check the schedule after making changes to ensure it aligns with your expectations.
At this time the system does not support a service scheduled multiple times on the same day. Coming soon!
