Dry runs are trips where your driver goes out to a requested stop, but can’t complete the service. For example, the container may be missing, blocked, or empty. Many haulers opt to charge a fee for such a trip.

How do I add Dry Run to my actions and business line?
Go to Settings > Business Lines > Attributes > Actions.
Scroll down, click Add Action, then add “Dry Run” to your list of actions.
Next, to add it to your business line, go to Business Lines > Create & Configure, select your business line, then check off “Dry Run” as an action.
How do I set a Dry Run price on a customer’s service?
Go to a customer’s Configured Service details page > Details & Billing > Action Based Pricing and click the + icon.
In the new row, set Action to Dry Run and enter its fee in Price. Click Save to add it.
How do I record a Dry run on the day it happens?
Open the customer’s service and locate the work order under Events. Click the 3-dot menu, followed by Edit Action.
Select Dry Run and click Save.
In Hauler Hero Road, your drivers can mark a Dry Run by updating a stop’s action to Dry Run.
