Can I delay the shipment of my sofa if I’m not ready to receive it?
Yes, you can request to place your order on hold before it ships. This option is helpful if you're moving, renovating, or simply not ready to receive your delivery. However, certain conditions and timeframes apply.
How to Request a Shipment Hold
When your order is ready to ship, you’ll receive an email titled “An Update for You!”
If you wish to delay the delivery, you must submit a hold request within 24 hours of receiving that email.
Orders will automatically proceed to shipping if no hold request is made within that time.
Holding Duration & Storage Policy
Orders can be held in storage for up to 2 months at no additional cost.
After 2 months, a 5% storage fee per month (calculated based on the item’s value) will apply.
Storage extensions beyond the free period are subject to availability and approval.
📌 We recommend requesting the hold only if you're certain about your timeline. Delays beyond 60 days may impact delivery scheduling or product availability.
How to Submit a Hold Request
To request a hold, contact us within 24 hours of receiving the shipping notice:

Once your request is confirmed, we’ll send an email update with the revised delivery status.
Important Notes
Hold requests are only accepted before the order is shipped.
Once your order is in transit, shipment schedules can no longer be changed.
Extended holds without communication may result in cancellation or automatic shipment with applicable storage fees.
