Send your landing page sign-ups to Facebook with Zapier

Written by Jonathan Zadegan

Running Facebook or Instagram ads to your landing page? Connect Homsie to Zapier and every new sign-up is sent back to Meta as a lead, so Facebook can see which ads actually produce homeowners and optimize toward them. Better data means cheaper leads.

⚠️ Important: Zapier webhooks need a paid Zapier plan.

How it works

Each time a homeowner signs up on their own, through your landing page, an invite link or a QR code, Homsie sends a client.signed_up event to the webhook URL you choose. It fires once per sign-up. Clients you add yourself with Create CMA or import from a CSV or Follow Up Boss aren't sent.

Set it up

  1. In Zapier, create a new Zap. For the trigger, choose Webhooks by Zapier → Catch Hook (not Catch Raw Hook). Copy the webhook URL Zapier gives you.

  2. In Homsie, go to Integrations, find Zapier and click Set up.

  3. Paste the URL into Webhook URL, turn on Enable webhook, and click Save & send test.

  4. Back in Zapier, click Test trigger. You should see the test sign-up from Homsie.

  5. Add an action: Facebook Conversions → Send Lead Event, and connect your Meta ad account and pixel.

  6. Map the fields: email, phone, first_name and last_name for matching; fbc, fbp, client_ip and client_user_agent for attribution; event_source_url; event_id (so Meta doesn't double-count); and occurred_at as the event time.

  7. Test the action, then publish your Zap.

Add your Meta Pixel to your landing page

For the best match rates, add your Meta Pixel to your landing page too. Open Marketplace → Landing page → Custom scripts, paste the pixel into Head, and click Publish. See "Set up your landing page".

Troubleshooting

  • The test doesn't arrive in Zapier: check that Enable webhook is on and the URL is pasted exactly, then click Save & send test again.

  • Fields show up as one block of text: your trigger is Catch Raw Hook. Switch it to Catch Hook.

  • Some clients never show up: that's expected. Only homeowners who sign up on their own (through your landing page, an invite link or a QR code) are sent. Clients you add or import yourself aren't.

Your Signing secret is there if your developer wants to check that requests really come from Homsie. Prefer Make or n8n? Any tool that can receive a webhook works the same way.
