To be alerted of jobs, you want to make sure your phone's location is shared with your Partner app(s) so that the system can both send nearby job offers and track drivers on dispatched jobs.

HONK uses the app's location to verify whether or not a driver has arrived on-scene to the customer or is running late. For this reason, is it important to make sure that the selected driver app is the same individual going out to complete the job. At the current moment, HONK's system will not track a driver other than the one originally assigned at dispatch.

It's also important to note that on rare occasions the system will fail to track the driver, even when the correct one was selected for the job. This may be due to poor reception, low battery, or another tech issue out of our control.

Step 1: Checking your profile status

Go to JoinHONK.com to log into your Partner Portal and click the My Team tab on the left. This will take you to the page where all your dispatchers and operators are listed.

If a dispatcher or operator is not listed at 100%, you'll want to carefully read the messaging on each app.

If the profile states Incomplete, it will explain what action has been taken and what is still required to get your operator fully set up.

Step 2: Checking within the app

If you are not already logged into your app, you'll want to sign in using your existing account if you have not already. If you have forgotten your app login, click here.

Once you are logged into your app, and see the following message, you will want to make sure that you choose Always Allow. This allows HONK to send you alerts for jobs near you even when you are not using the app.

You'll also want to check that your Partner app has you marked as On Duty. Off Duty apps will not receive job alerts.

Step 3: Go to the app settings

You can always check to make sure your location services are turned on by going into your app's settings. Checking your apps settings will be different depending on if you have an Android or Apple mobile device.

For location settings in our app, location access should always be allowed.

If you are still having problems after you've checked your operators and push notifications on your Android or Apple device, you'll want to delete the app from your phone, remove yourself as a operator on your My Team page, and then re-install the app.

If you continue to have problems after you've done all of these things, please email partners@honkforhelp.com.
