To get a repeat prescription, you’ll need to book a quick doctor consultation in your Hormn portal first (prescriptions are created during the consult). Each medication has a minimum re-order interval based on the prescribed dose, quantity dispensed and reasonable wastage.
This interval ensures you always have enough time to receive your next order before running out, even accounting for processing and shipping. To order medication, navigate to Treatments → Your Treatment → Order Medication in your Hormn portal.
To avoid gaps in your treatment, book your doctor consultation when you have about two weeks of medication left (or three weeks for compounded medications). This ensures your prescription will be ready in time. If you attempt to re-order too early, the system may prevent the order until the allowed timeframe has passed.
For TRT users, it is useful to keep one x 1 ml pre-filled syringe in its packaging when you transfer the rest of your medication into the sterile vials. When your vial is empty and you need to open this last pre-filled syringe, you will then know that it is time to arrange your resupply (and any necessary consultation or bloodwork) before running out.
