New Features and Enhancements

Upload Initial Notifications

'Complete' and 'Upload' buttons have been added to all Initial Notification forms, similar to Claim Forms and Claim Reports.

This allows users the option to upload an Initial Notification via the attachment panel and manually select the 'Date Notification Submitted' date. Use this when an Initial Notification has been completed outside of Solv.

Power Reports | New Fields

Current Medical Certificate Capacities:

  • Added 'Is Current' field to the Medical Certificate Capacities object in Power Reports

  • Fixed issue where MedicalCertificateLatestCapacity fields were not showing any data for non-Workers Comp Medical Certificate types

First Entitlement Week From/To:

  • Added 'First Entitlement Week From' to the Reporting Details object

  • Added 'First Entitlement Week To' to the Reporting Details object

VIC Self Insurance:

  • Added 'Service Provider Name' to the Payment Line Items object

  • Added 'Payee Type' to the Payments object

Comcare Self Insurance | Full Shift Lost

In Comcare, the 'Full Shift Lost' checkbox is now visible on the Compensation Calculator when Compensation Approvals is enabled in an account.

This field will populate to the Weekly Payment record when it is created via Compensation Approvals.

TAS Self Insurance | C100.16 Update

The TAS SI 8.1 specs now require that a WRP Code must be used if Payment Type = 08, regardless of Service Date. The system has been updated to account for this:

  • When adding a TAS SI Other Payment, if the 'Vocational Rehabilitation' Payment Type is selected, the Provider field will be read-only and will be set to 'Voc Rehab Provider'. The Service field will only show WRP service codes.

  • Added a submission check to ensure that a 'WRP' Service Code is selected for all Vocational Rehabilitation payments.

VIC Self Insurance | Lost Days & Lost Weeks via Compensation Approval

The Add VIC Weekly Payment page currently has a Claim Data section that allows users to update the Days Lost and Weeks Lost fields on the Claim Data page while adding a Weekly Payment.

This has now been built into the Compensation Approval workflow too:

  • Days Lost from the Weekly Payment will be automatically added to the Claim Data Lost Days value.

  • The Claim Data Lost Weeks value will be automatically incremented by '1' per Weekly Payment added.

  • When a Weekly Payment is nulled:

    • The Days Lost on that Weekly Payment will automatically be deducted from the Claim Data Lost Days.

    • The Claim Data Lost Weeks will be automatically reduced by '1'.

Date Prepopulation on Add Injury

When adding a new Injury record to the system, the Date of Injury and Date Employer Notified prefill with today's date.

If this does not meet your business needs, your account's key contact can reach out via the support widget, and the prefill can be turned off. This is an account-specific setting.

Bug Fixes

HR Data Import | EmployeeID Duplicate Error when Matching on ClientUniqueID

Before: When the HR import was matching on ClientUniqueId and an existing person with an EmployeeID was imported, a duplicate EmployeeID error was occurring.

After: Bug fixed.

SolvInjury Homepage | Confidential Injuries in Payroll tabs

Before: Confidential Injuries were not displaying on Homepage panels when Panel Type = Payroll, even though the user had confidential access.

After: Bug fixed.

Add Injury | Person Picker Duplicate Pop-up Issue

Before: In some scenarios, the Person Picker duplicate pop-up wasn't showing the option to add the duplicate person.

After: Bug fixed. Users will always have the option to add a duplicate person, unless this will result in a duplicate email address or duplicate Employee ID.

Invalid Nature of Injury Values

Before: Some invalid Nature of Injury values were appearing in some accounts.

After: Bug fixed. The invalid values have been deactivated.

Claim Data | Occupation with Invalid Character

Before: An error was occurring on Claim Data pages when the 'Audiologists and Speech Pathologists \ Therapists' occupation value was selected. The error was caused by the backslash (\) character, which is an invalid character, and does not exist in the official ANZSCO data.

After: Bug fixed. The backslash with a forward slash for that occupation, to match the ANZSCO data.

Comcare Self Insurance Submission | Cost Centre Issues

Further fixes for Comcare SI scripts to cater for multiple Comcare licences.

WA Self Insurance | Quarterly WC20 (WA) Report | Financial Year Issue

Before: The Financial Year field in the 'Quarterly WC20 (WA)' report template was in the wrong format in some accounts. It was displaying as '2024-2025' instead of '2024/25', and this was causing it to be rejected by the regulator.

After: Report fixed.

TAS Self Insurance | 'Total Estimated Time Lost' Submission Check bug

Before: The 'Total Estimated Time Lost needs to be greater than 0' submission check in TAS was incorrect.

After: Bug fixed.
