System Release Notes for 25 November 2025

Updated over 5 months ago

Our development team currently has a focus on system performance.

New Features and Enhancements

Multiple Tab Performance Improvements

Improved performance when switching between multiple tabs that have already loaded.

Previously, tabs would turn white with nothing displaying until the page was refreshed.

Performance Improvements | Opening Multiple Tabs

Performance improvements when opening multiple tabs quickly. In particular, we have targeted the 'wheel of death' (endless loading).

Compensation Approval Performance Improvement

Improved the performance of the Compensation Approvals page.

As part of this change, users will no longer be able to process Compensation Approvals in multiple tabs at the same time. Users can still open records in a new tab, but they are unable to click 'approve' in one tab while they're approving payments in another tab.

Compensation Approval | Approve Selected Records

When approving Weekly Entitlements via the Compensation Approvals page, if multiple Weekly Entitlements have been selected and some return errors but others do not, the Weekly Entitlements that do not return errors (and are not linked to a record that returns any errors) are approved successfully.

The behaviour prior to this deployment was that all Weekly Entitlements needed to be 'able to be approved' for any of them to be approved.

Compensation Approval | Select All Functionality Change

Changes to the way the Select All checkbox works on the Compensation Approvals grid have been made to contribute to improving the page's performance. Select All will now only select the records on the displayed page (determined by Items per page).

If Select All is used, and then a user navigates to the next page, all records are deselected.

Bug Fixes

'SSO Required to Login' Setting

Before: The 'SSO Required to Login' setting was not working. This setting enforces only the use of SSO to access that account. There were instances where a user was still able to access the system using a username and password.

After: Bug fixed.

Incorrect PIAWE and AWE sometimes saved against Weekly Entitlement

Before: The PIAWE and AWE values saved against a Weekly Entitlement were not always the correct values (i.e. the values used to calculate the Weekly Entitlement). This was happening when the Weekly Entitlement was generated using an older PayrollIndexations record (i.e. not the 'current' one).

After: Bug fixed.

Comcare Self Insurance | Country Code issue in Submission File

Before: The Comcare SI submission was not sending the correct country code when 'United Kingdom' was set as the country.

After: The Comcare SI submission now sends the correct country code when the country is 'United Kingdom'.

Comcare Self Insurance | Submission Check updates for Undetermined (U) Liability Status

Before: Comcare submission checks were flagging for certain missing fields even though those fields are not mandatory when the Determination Status is Undetermined.

After: Bug fixed. Those checks won't flag if the Liability Status is Undetermined.

Comcare Self Insurance | Timeframe Submission Check Issue

Before: The 'Timeframe can only be added if there is an Undetermined Liability Status on the claim' submission check in Comcare was not checking all data included in the submission. It was only flagging for records added since the Submission Start Date, however, in Comcare all data is submitted up until the Submission End Date.

After: Bug fixed. The Submission check will now check all data included in the submission.
