Updated over a week ago

New Features and Enhancements

Current Focus | User Efficiency

Each release in 2026, we are focusing on improvements to make your daily work life easier. Keep an eye on this section of the Release Notes for updates on these specific changes.

Compensation Calculator | Bulk Delete Weekly Entitlements

Users can now bulk delete Weekly Entitlements via the Compensation Calculator page. This means no more selecting week by week when you need to delete multiple records.

Some rules for how this works do apply:

  • Only consecutive weeks can be deleted together, and the latest week must always be included when using the bulk delete functionality.

  • For accounts with Compensation Approval enabled, users will have the option to null all Weekly Payments linked to the deleted weeks.

New Merge Fields

Workplace Fields

The following Workplace fields are now available as email and letter template merge fields:

  • Workplace Number

  • Workplace Unique ID

  • Workplace Address

  • Workplace Suburb

  • Workplace Postcode

  • Workplace State

  • Workplace Phone (W)

  • Workplace Custom Field 1

  • Workplace Custom Field 2

System User Work Address

System User (logged-in user) Work Address fields are now available as email and letter template merge fields:

Also, the labels of address merge fields in the Letter Template Merge Fields document now specify whether the merge field uses the person's Home Address or Work Address.

Compensation Calculator | Pre-Injury Hours max value

Validation has been added to ensure that the Pre-Injury Hours field on the Compensation Calculator page is less than or equal to 168.

System Settings | Session Idle Time Validation

Validation has been added to prevent users from saving a blank value in the Session Idle Time account system setting. A blank value would prevent users from logging in to the system.

Claim Cost Import | Validation

Additional validation has been added for invalid Claim Cost import files. This is for blank rows at the top of the imported document.

Bug Fixes

Homepage | Date Keyfield Sorting

Before: When trying to sort by a Date or DateTime Keyfield on the Homepage, the data was sorting alphabetically instead of by date.

After: Bug fixed. Date and DateTime Keyfields will now sort properly on the homepage.

Claim Export Errors and Timeouts

Work has been done to continue improving the functionality of Claim Exports.

Before: Some Claim Exports were timing out due to the number of Notes being exported.

After: Bug fixed. The Claim Export code can now handle exporting significantly more Notes.

Before: Claim Exports would fail when the export included a subform field with a blank label.

After: Bug fixed. The Claim Export will no longer fail in this scenario. Subform fields with blank labels will be excluded from the excel file in the Claim Export (same as main form fields with blank labels).

Claim Documents | Initial Notification UTC Issue

Before: The wrong date was sometimes saved against the Claim Document record when saving an Initial Notification early in the morning.

After: Bug fixed.

Deleted Manager Display Issue on Closed Records

Before: When the assigned manager of a closed claim had their user record deleted, the Injury/Claim Manager field was showing blank on the injury record.

Assigned managers do not need to be reallocated for closed records when deleting a user record.

After: Bug fixed. For closed claims, the Injury Manager and Claim Manager fields will show the historic data.

Comcare Self Insurance | Appeals Issue

The missing 'Medical assessment under s 57' value has been added to the Issue field dropdown on the Add/Edit Appeals page in Comcare Self Insurance.

TAS Self Insurance | Compensation Approvals Weekly Payment Type

Before: Changes after updated advice from WorkSafe TAS.

TAS Weekly Payments created via Compensation Approvals were sometimes created with the wrong Payment Type. The '01' Payment Type was not used if 'No Suitable Duties' was greater than 0.

After: Bug fixed. Compensation Approvals will set TAS Weekly Payments to have the '01' Payment Type when at least one of 'Unfit', 'Restricted Duties - Lost', or 'No Suitable Duties' hours is greater than 0, as long as 'Restricted Duties - Worked' is 0.

NSW Self Insurance | Submission Errors Upload File Validation

Before: When an invalid file was uploaded to the Submission Errors page, an error message appeared, but the file was sometimes still uploaded.

After: Bug fixed. If an error message appears due to an invalid file, the file will not be uploaded.
