Issue

If you encounter the error message “Error: You are no longer a member of any organization” when attempting to log in to Hyperproof, it can indicate an issue with your account setup.

Follow the guidance below to identify and resolve the problem.

Scenario 1: Your organization uses SSO

If your organization is configured for Single Sign-On (SSO) and you see this error:

  • It may mean there’s a mismatch between your Hyperproof user’s email address and the email address provided by your Identity Provider (IdP).

To resolve this:

  1. Confirm that the email address configured in your IdP matches the email address used for your Hyperproof user.

  2. Update the email in either your IdP or Hyperproof account so they match exactly.

Scenario 2: Your organization does not use SSO

If your organization is not using SSO, and you see this error after entering your credentials in one of the three Hyperproof instances: https://hyperproof.app, https://hyperproof.eu/ , or http://hyperproofgov.app/

  • You may have updated your email and tried logging into Hyperproof with that email address prior to updating your email address in Hyperproof. This creates duplicate user records in our database, preventing login with either.

  • You may not have accepted an invitation to join a Hyperproof organization.

  • You might be trying to log in with an incorrect email address (one that doesn't match your active Hyperproof user).

  • There might be interference from an email security tool installed on your browser. Mimecast, for instance, can modify email links, disrupting our authentication process. You might be able to identify this issue by seeing if the invitation leads to an error page showing a URL with a urlisolation.com prefix like this:

To resolve this:

  1. Make sure you have accepted an active invitation to join a Hyperproof organization. Check your spam filter to see if the invitation email is in there.

  2. Confirm you're using the same email address associated with your Hyperproof user.

  3. Contact your Hyperproof administrator to verify your account status.

  4. Open a support case to have Support correct any duplicate user records in the database.

  5. If you have an email security tool installed on your browser, ask your IT to add the Hyperproof URL to your allowlist and open a support case to schedule a meeting with Support. We can provide you with the invitation link via Zoom chat instead of email. The Hyperproof URL varies depending on the instance where your organization is hosted. Instances include:

    1. Hyperproof US - hyperproof.app

    2. Hyperproof EU - hyperproof.eu

    3. Hyperproof Gov - hyperproofgov.app
