Grassroots Performance Check Dashboard

The Grassroots Performance Check Dashboard is an essential tool for mitigating potential fraud during walk surveys. It meticulously monitors key performance indicators of volunteers, such as their proximity to a residence at the time of data entry and the duration between consecutive surveys. By aggregating and analyzing this data, the dashboard generates comprehensive reports, enabling users to efficiently discern patterns and trends within their walkbooks and volunteer activities.

The Grassroots Performance Check Dashboard is an optional add-on to enhance your current subscription. If you are interested in incorporating this valuable tool into your account, please contact your account manager for further information.

Note: The Dashboard is currently only supported in a Chrome Browser

Once you have access to the dashboard, you can navigate to it by click Menu > Analytics > Grassroots Performance Check

Dashboard Content

The Dashboard has 3 sections:

  • Header/Filter

  • Volunteer Table

  • Volunteer Data and Map View

Header/Filter

In the header section, you have the capability to customize your data view by specifying the desired date range, accessing the aggregate survey score for the selected period, and applying filters to focus on particular volunteer(s) and State(s).

Utilize the Date Slider to define your desired date range, and employ the State and Volunteer dropdown menus to select specific State(s) and Volunteer(s). If no selections are made, all available data will be displayed.

The Survey Scores provide a comprehensive overview of volunteer and survey performance:

  • Distance Score: This metric reflects the percentage of completed surveys submitted within 250 feet of a target household. A score below 80% may indicate potential issues.

  • Time Score: This metric evaluates the completion rate of walkbooks, specifically assessing whether surveys are conducted at a rate of 10 to 50 doors per hour. A score below 80% may suggest an area of concern.

  • Survey Score: This metric measures the variance between the actual and expected survey result distributions. A score below 80% could signal potential discrepancies.

For detailed tooltips on each score, hover over the text labeled "Score" for each category.

Volunteer Table

The "Volunteer Table" provides a refined dataset derived from the header, emphasizing key metrics for each volunteer per walkbook. The color coding in the table corresponds with the survey score tooltips for easy reference. Users have the capability to sort data by any column and perform searches within each column using the input fields. Selecting a row will display the detailed raw data for the corresponding volunteer and walkbook in a view located below the table.

Volunteer Data and Map View

This interface provides an in-depth analysis of the selected volunteer's metrics related to the walkbook.

  • Left Panel: A graph displays the volunteer's average attempts per hour compared to the organization's average attempts per hour. Below this graph, the raw data of the volunteer's attempts is available for review.

  • Central Panel: This section features a map visualization of the volunteer's activities. Users can view attempts categorized by distance, response, and duration using the tabs located at the bottom of the map. Additionally, the "Play Route" tab allows for a playback of the volunteer's exact route during the walkbook activity, where the progression of attempts over time is depicted through deepening color shades. As the hue darkens, it signifies a later attempt, providing a visual representation of the sequence and evolution of efforts.

The map view can be switched to a satellite perspective or restricted to display only the volunteer's GPS data by using the toggles beneath the map. Displaying the Volunteer's location only is especially useful for verifying data input locations in relation to household proximity.

  • Right Panel: A bar graph illustrates the proportion percentages of survey answers, comparing the volunteer's performance metrics against organizational averages. Below the bar graph, users can find the raw numerical data and the deviation between the volunteer's metrics and the organization's averages.

This dashboard empowers users to effectively track volunteer metrics during walk surveys, with features like comparing a volunteer's individual averages to the organizations, mapping the distance a volunteer is from a target when inputting data, and the color-coded route replay providing clear insights into progress over time.
