Settings Menu

Provides access to application settings, graphics options, movement controls, and comfort features to help customize your TobeXR experience.

General Settings

Report Bug

Opens the TobeXR bug reporting form in your default web browser, allowing you to submit feedback or report issues directly to the development team.

Reset Locomotion

Restores all movement-related settings to their default values.

Use this option if your locomotion settings have been modified and you want to return to the recommended defaults.


Graphics Settings

Graphics Quality

Adjust the visual quality of the experience based on your device's performance capabilities.

Available options:

  • Low – Maximum performance with reduced visual fidelity

  • Medium – Balanced performance and visuals

  • High – Enhanced visual quality

  • Ultra – Highest visual fidelity with increased hardware requirements


Movement Physics Modifiers

These settings control how you move and interact with the environment.

Flying

When enabled, pushing forward moves you in the direction your headset is facing, allowing free-flight navigation through the scene.

Gravity

Controls whether gravity affects player movement.

  • On – Natural movement with gravity applied

  • Off – Free movement without gravity restrictions

Model Collision

Determines whether the user collides with model geometry.

  • On – Prevents movement through walls and objects

  • Off – Allows movement through walls and model geometry

Comfort Mode

Enables a peripheral vision blocker during movement to help reduce motion sickness and improve comfort in VR.


Movement Controls

Max Move Speed

Adjusts the maximum speed used when moving through the environment.

Use the slider to increase or decrease movement speed to suit your preference.

Teleport Projectile Velocity

Controls the reach and maximum distance of the teleport arc.

Higher values allow longer-distance teleports, while lower values reduce teleport range.

Rotation Snap Angle

Sets the angle used for snap turning.

Available options:

  • 15°

  • 30°

  • 45°

  • 60°

  • 90°


Handedness

Choose which hand controls movement and teleportation.

Available Options

  • Right-Handed

  • Left-Handed

Changing the handedness setting swaps the movement and teleport controls between hands to match your preferred interaction style.
