Staff Filtering

The Staff Filter helps you view the Calendar through the lens of a single staff member. It’s perfect for checking someone’s day, confirming start/end times, reviewing coverage, or troubleshooting issues like overlap and availability.

With All staff selected, you’ll see all shifts for all staff. When you choose a specific staff member, the Calendar updates to show shifts assigned to them (including shifts where they’re one of the staff on a group shift).

To use it, open the Staff dropdown in the Calendar header. Type to search, then select the staff member. To return to a full view, select All staff.

A few useful tips:

  • This is a single-staff filter. If you need to filter by multiple staff members at once, use Advanced Filters (multi-select).

  • Staff filtering can be combined with Client, Location, Appointment Type, and Clock-in filters to narrow the view even further.

  • If you don’t see expected shifts, double-check that you haven’t also enabled a filter like Shift Pool/Vacant Shifts, which focuses on unassigned shifts.

The Staff Filter is a fast way to answer questions like “What is Alex doing this week?” without needing to jump between screens or run a report.
