Vacant Shifts is a list of rostered shifts that don’t currently have a staff member assigned. It’s designed for schedulers and admins who need a quick way to find unfilled shifts and assign someone without jumping around the roster.

To open Vacant Shifts, go to Scheduler → Vacant Shifts. You’ll see a table of upcoming vacant shifts with the key details you need to action them quickly, including the client, date, time, address, care manager, and category.

Each row has a Status area:

If the shift is still vacant, you’ll see Assign (manual assignment) and AI Assist (recommendations + quick assign).

The Address in the table is clickable and opens Google Maps, which is helpful when checking travel distance or confirming the location before assigning a staff member.

After you assign a staff member (manually or via AI Assist), the list updates so you can immediately see that the shift is no longer vacant.
