Shipping Policies for Orders at Infotainment

Infotainment aims to ensure you receive your orders accurately and efficiently. Below is an overview of our shipping policies, focusing on scenarios involving backordered items and partial shipments.

Partial Shipments: Are They Available?

The possibility of shipping part of your order depends on the nature of the items and their role in the final product:

  • Critical Components: If your order includes a critical component necessary for the functioning of the overall product (e.g., a required harness for an upgrade), all items in the order will ship together once the critical component is available. Partial shipments are not permitted in such cases. [Source: ]

  • Non-Critical Components: If your order includes backordered items that are not critical, such as additional accessories or standalone parts, you may request a partial shipment. In these cases, the in-stock items will ship first, and the backordered items will be sent separately when they become available. [Source: ]

Backordered Items

  • When an item in your order is backordered, it means the product is temporarily out of stock and must be supplied by the manufacturer or supplier before it can be shipped. Backordered items may experience delays depending on the supplier's timeline for restocking. Typically, fulfillment of backordered items takes approximately 2–4 weeks from the date the order is placed. Once the item is in stock, it will be shipped using the selected delivery method (standard or expedited).

  • If the backordered item is deemed essential for the order, the entire order will wait until the backordered item is in stock before shipping. Expedited shipping affects only the delivery time from the seller to the customer and does not influence the supplier's fulfillment timeline.

Special Considerations

If you are unsure whether your order qualifies for partial shipment or wish to request one, please contact Infotainment’s customer service for assistance.

Expedited Shipping Limitations

Expedited shipping applies only to the time it takes to deliver an item once it is shipped from the seller to the customer. This method cannot reduce the time required for the supplier to fulfill and restock backordered items. Customers should consider the supplier's timeline when planning for expedited delivery.
