Instead of sending people to a separate Innercrowd URL, you can embed your landing page directly on your own website. This keeps visitors on your site while still capturing registrations in Innercrowd. It also enables you to use your website's tracking setup. This article explains how to get the embed code and add it to your website.
Before You Start
Make sure your landing page is fully set up and saved before embedding it. The embed code is only available after the landing page has been created. For help setting up a landing page, refer to this article: How to Create a Landing Page.
Before copying the embed code, make sure the Transparent Background setting is enabled in the Design step of your landing page editor. You will find this under Design > Background. Enabling this ensures the form blends into your website's background colour instead of showing a white or coloured box around it.
Step 1: Open the Landing Page Overview
Go to Innercrowd Dashboard > Landing Pages. You will see an overview of all your landing pages, including the number of registrations, contacts, and the date each page was created.
Step 2: Get the Embed Code
Click the three-dot menu next to the landing page you want to embed. A dropdown will appear with the following options: Edit, Make a copy, Embed landing page, Copy short URL, and Delete. Click Embed landing page.
Step 3: Choose Your Embed Type
The Embed Landing Page pop-up will open. There are two tabs to choose from:
Embed Code generates a lightweight script that loads the form directly into your page. This is the recommended option for most websites as it adapts to your page layout and keeps the styling consistent.
Iframe generates a standard iframe element. Use this if your website does not support external scripts, or if you prefer a fixed-size embed.
Step 4: Set the Width
For the Embed Code option, you can set a custom width before copying the code. The default is 600px. Adjust this to match the column width of the section on your website where you plan to place the form.
Step 5: Copy and Paste the Code
Click Copy Code to copy the embed code to your clipboard. Then paste it into the HTML of your website at the location where you want the form to appear.
If you are using a website builder like WordPress, Squarespace, or Webflow, look for an HTML or custom code block and paste the code there.
Note: The embed code is unique to each landing page. If you create a new landing page or make a copy, you will need to generate a new embed code.
