Battles in your live
What you'll learn
This guide explains how Battles work on Jamble. A Battle is a team competition that happens inside your own live: your audience splits into two teams, which earn points by buying and sending gems. The top players on the winning team get shipping coupons, and your live gets more energy and more sales.
Before you start
You need:
An approved seller account on Jamble
A live on air. A Battle only starts while the live is running, not in practice mode
Products ready to sell during the Battle
One Battle per week
You have one Battle per week. The app itself shows when it's available, in the live menu:
Batalha pronta (Battle ready): your weekly Battle is unlocked. Start the live to begin it
Iniciar Batalha (Start battle): with the live on air, tap to begin
Próxima batalha (Next battle) with the time left: you already had this week's Battle. The app shows when it comes back
How it works
You start the Battle from the live menu and pick the duration
Viewers join a team. The first time they buy or send gems, each one joins the red or the blue team, chosen automatically by Jamble
Teams earn points from paid purchases and gems sent during the Battle
When time runs out, the team with more points wins. If points are tied, the Battle ends in a draw
The top players on the winning team get shipping coupons
The point rules and rewards show in the app itself, under Exibir regras de batalha (Show battle rules) and Como ganhar pontos? (How to earn points?).
Step by step
Step 1: start the Battle
With the live on air, open the live menu and tap Iniciar Batalha (Start battle). Pick one of the durations the app offers.
Choose a duration that matches the time you'll keep selling. The app warns you: don't end before time is up, or viewers may not get their rewards.
Step 2: your audience joins the teams
When the Battle starts, viewers see the welcome screen and can open the rules.
During the Battle, a bar in the live shows each team's points in real time. Viewers can also see the ranking and how much each of them can win.
Step 3: keep selling
Run the live as usual: pin products, start sales, and talk to the chat. Every paid purchase and every gem sent counts points for the team of the person who bought or sent it.
Step 4: the Battle ends
When time runs out, the Battle ends and the winning team is announced. Each viewer sees the result and their position. Those who won a reward tap Reivindicar (Claim) to get the coupon.
To end the live while a Battle is running, end the Battle first, from the live menu, with Encerrar Batalha (End battle).
Rewards
Rewards are shipping coupons, to use on purchases in lives
Only the top-ranked players on the winning team get one. The Battle screen shows how much each position can win
The viewer must be in the live when the Battle ends to get the reward
The expiry date shows on the coupon itself
The reward amounts and the durations available show in the app when you start the Battle.
Important tips
Don't end the Battle early. Pick a duration you can stick to
Prefer long lives. A Battle works best when you have plenty of selling time ahead
Keep putting products on sale. More sales mean more chances for your audience to score
Remind the chat to stay until the end. Only people in the live at the end get the reward
Announce the Battle in advance. Tell your followers the live will have a Battle
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a minimum number of viewers? No. You can start a Battle with any number of viewers, but it's more fun with more people.
How many Battles can I run? One per week. The live menu shows when the next one is available.
Can I choose the viewers' team? No. Jamble chooses the team automatically. The viewer stays on the same team until the Battle ends.
What earns points? Paid purchases and gems sent during the Battle. The full rules show in the app, under Como ganhar pontos? (How to earn points?).
What happens if a viewer leaves before the end? They don't get the reward, even if their team wins.
Do I get anything from the Battle? The Battle doesn't give the seller a prize, but it usually brings more purchases, more gems, and a livelier audience.
What's the difference between a Battle and a raid? A Battle is a competition inside your live. A raid sends your viewers to another seller's live when you end yours. See Raid another seller's live.
