Is it possible to add custom fields for donors?

What are custom fields?

Custom fields serve as a method to gather specific information from donors during the donation process, tailoring the experience to their preferences and enabling targeted contributions. This feature allows you to pose different types of questions to your audience, ensuring a personalized approach for each donor.
How do you do that?

stage 1

After creating the campaign, navigate to the edit tab (ensure the correct campaign is selected) > Advanced options > Custom fields.

stage 2

Click on "Add new field." Use the pink arrow to choose from various question types that best fit your needs, such as those prompting donors to select a specific project within a multi-project campaign.

You can determine whether the question is required by checking 'yes or no' in the "required field" category.
Please note! If marked as required, donors must answer the question to proceed with the donation.

Types of Questions You Can Ask:

✏️ Open field: Allows donors to provide free-text responses.
📻 Radio: Presents radio buttons for selecting a single option from a group.
✅ Check box: Offers a checkbox to choose from various options (one or more selections possible).
👇 Scrolling list: Provides a drop-down list with customizable values for selecting one option from a group.

Important Highlights:

1. Up to 6 questions can be asked.
2. To ensure that the questions appear in the donation panel, verify that the "custom fields" category is checked.

3. If you wish to change or edit the questions, click on the edit/delete tab.

Custom fields enhance your campaign's versatility, allowing you to gather data in a format that aligns with your objectives.
