In this guide, we will learn how to edit the text that appears in the automated email sent to the donor immediately after the donation (the email to which the receipt is attached). This is a great opportunity to say thank you in a personal tone, even when the process is automated.
Steps
1. Accessing Display Settings
Log in to the system and click on your Profile Picture (or Organization Name) in the top left corner.
In the menu that opens, click on "Account Settings".
At the top of the screen, switch to the "Display" tab.
2. Editing the Text
Find the row labeled "Messages for donors" and click on it to expand the options.
You will now see two text boxes:
Hebrew: For donors using the Hebrew interface.
English: For donors using the English interface.
Write your words of thanks in the appropriate boxes.
Tip: It is recommended to write something warm and appreciative that briefly explains how the donation helps you.
3. Saving
Don't forget to click the purple "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the section so the text updates in the system.
Summary
Adding personal text is a one-time action performed via Account Settings > Display > Messages for donors. From the moment you save, every donor will receive your personal message along with the automated receipt.
