Step 1: Get started
Enter your first and last name.
Enter your phone number and choose the available verification methods (WhatsApp, SMS, Phone Call)
Agree to the terms and click Continue.
Step 2: Create your Karta profile
Enter a profile name.
Select "Freelance" as your business type.
Choose your team size and average monthly spend.
Indicate the contact messenger (WhatsApp, Telegram, Messenger)
Click "Go to the app".
3. Identity Verification
After completing the previous steps, you’ll proceed to the identity verification (KYC). This step is divided into three sub-steps:
4.1 Fill in your personal information
First, confirm your country of residence:
USA
All other countries (except the USA)
Then, fill in the following details:
Full name
Date of birth
Email address
Contact number
Country that issued your ID
Full residential address (street, city, state, postal code)
Click "Continue" to proceed.
4.2. Upload your identification document
We accept the following types of documents:
Passport (photo page)
National ID card (front and back)
Driver’s license (front only)
Residence permit (front and back)

Make sure your document is valid, clearly visible, and not cropped.
4.3. Liveness Check
In the final step, you’ll be asked to complete a liveness check.
This involves using your device’s camera and slowly moving your head in a circular motion to confirm that you are physically present.
Follow the on-screen instructions carefully to complete the check successfully.
Final Step
Once all information is submitted, the verification process will begin. It typically takes just a few minutes.
After successful verification, your freelance account will be activated and ready for use.
