The Asset Settings page allows you to choose exactly which fields appear when adding a new asset in Klipboard. This helps you tailor the asset data to suit your business needs and ensure that only relevant information is captured.

Access Your Asset Settings
You can find your asset settings by navigating to: Settings > Asset Settings in your Klipboard web dashboard.
Configure Your Settings:
From the Asset Register Fields, you can configure the asset fields you want to use by making them visible and/ or mandatory, depending on your requirements.
Tick the checkboxes for the fields you want associated with your assets.
You can make an entire section visible by setting the toggle to yes on the approriate banner, alternatively, you can select individual fields as required.
Only fields marked as visible here will be accessible when creating your assets on your mobile appear or dashboard.
Custom Fields
You can add custom fields to your asset to display on the asset register.
Please note: that custom fields do not display on mobile app, they only appear on the web dashbaord.
When you have configured your assets, click on the save button to save your changes.
Auto update PPM Schedule Next Service Date
Activating this setting will update the next service date on the PPM schedule for the asset according to the 'date the job was completed'.
