If you bring a Laundry Card to the reader and there's no response on the LCD display (the reader continues to say Place Card Above instead of display the Laundry Card's current balance), try rebooting the reader by power cycling the laundry machine (remove power to the laundry machine for a few seconds and then plug the power back in).
If the reader starts reacting to Laundry Cards after a power cycle, you want to contact Laundroworks support as there could be a remote firmware update available to stop this issue from happening again in the future.
If the reader continues to be unable to detect the presence of Laundry Cards after a power cycle, it's likely the RFID antenna on the Card Reader has suffered a hardware issue that the Card Reader was unable to detect.
When the RFID antenna is having an issue, the Card Reader will typically throw an RFID error; however if the malfunction happens in a way the reader is unable to detect; it will not display an error, but still be unable to detect Laundry Cards.
To correct this issue, the Card Reader's reader board will need to be replaced.
