Assigning a refund in the app

Here we help you when a Card refund can't be automatically assigned.

When a refund is processed, Laybuy will automatically try assign this to the correct order based on the value, store name and order ID. When we can't do this, we'll notify you that a refund is pending and give you the freedom to assign this to a relevant order.

Below are the steps to follow to assign a refund to your order.

  1. You'll see a new section in the Payments tab that allows you to claim your refund.

  2. Once selected, we'll show you a list of refunds you can apply to an order to have the price adjusted.

  3. Select the refund, select an order and we'll automatically adjust the balance owed.

If the refund exceeds payments already made towards the order, we'll refund you the difference directly to your funding card. Otherwise, we'll adjust the order by the value of the refund so you never have to pay anything more.
