In addition to selling general entry tickets to your event, you can also set up Applications to allow individuals and partners to apply for (instead of directly purchase) entries. Some example uses:
Ballots - for events where demand for an entry spot is high, individuals can enter a Ballot for the chance to be allocated an entry spot
Qualifying places - participants who meet your race result and/or athletics association requirements can be reviewed for eligibility, and allocated an entry spot
Corporate entries - organisations can apply for a large number of entries for their members
You’ll be able to launch application forms on your Let’s Do This event page, review the applicants in your Let’s Do This dashboard, and manage the allocation of your entries to the successful applicants.
What are Applications?
Applications are set up similarly to general entry tickets. An application “ticket” can request participant information, have a cost (if desired), sell add-ons and process payment. The key difference is that submitted applications are not allocated a startlist place automatically - they are submitted as application entries that must go through an extra process before appearing on the startlist.
Types of Applications
Ballot applications - for individual participants who will be entered into a draw. More details: Ballot
Individual applications - for individual participants who are qualifying based on eligibility criteria.
Partner applications - for organisations applying for a large number of entries.

Contact your Partner Success Manager to discuss your application requirements, including:

any eligibility criteria
how you’d like to review and approve applicants
They’ll advise on the best way to set up your Applications and if there any setup costs involved, such as automated identity checks.
