We recommend adding the core values as a skill to employees' role profiles. This ensures that they always have insight into your organisation's core values and what behaviour is expected with them.

πŸ’‘: Create a separate skill category for the core values, so you can easily (de)select them during the skill evaluation in your templates. Read more about skill categories hereπŸ“š.

To then evaluate on these core values, there are several options.

Way 1:

  1. Create a separate skill category as described above.

  2. Add the core values as a skill to all role profiles.

  3. Go to Development > Conversations > Templates.

  4. Open the relevant template.

  5. Add '+Role profile skills' as a question to the template.

  6. Double-check that the skill category Core Values is selected by clicking on the arrow to the right of the question.

This way, the core values will also be loaded as a skill in the evaluation form. This way you will review the core values in the same way and rating scale as the skills and competences.

Note❗️: Should you use the KPI 'Skill coverage' for the skill evaluation, the core values will count in the total % of the employee's skill coverage.

πŸ’‘: In case you want to document the data regarding your core values and store it as a separate KPI, it is best to use the option below.

Way 2:

  1. Go to Development > Conversations > Templates.

  2. Open the gear with 'KPIs' and add a core values KPI.

  3. Open the relevant template.

  4. Select the core values KPI at section level and fill in the rating scale at section level.

  5. Add the core values individually as a question to the template.

  6. In the description of the question, add the definition and expected behaviour.

Note❗️: Double-check if the skill category 'Core values' is disabled for any skill evaluation in the same template.

Now, as an admin, you also have insight into the scores for the KPI 'Core values', as an organization average and per participant. You also now have the opportunity to plot the KPI in the 9-grid report.
