How to Upload Files to a Version List

You can manually add new files to a version list or automatically upload a new version when saving edits made with the editor.

Important Notes

  • When you upload a file to the version list, it will be added as the latest version by default.

Manually upload a Contract or My template to a Version List

  1. Open the [Contracts] or [My templates] list.

  2. Click the file for which you want to add a version.

  3. On the right side of the file detail page, click the [Versions] tab.
Hover your cursor to display the menu.

  4. Click [+ Upload].

  5. Select the file you want to upload, choose the Status, and click [Upload].
You can update the status later if needed. For details, see How to edit file information for uploaded contracts and my templates.

The uploaded file will appear as the latest version in the version list, and the main file list will display the latest version’s information.

Automatically upload a file from the Editor

When you edit a contract using the Editor, saving your changes will automatically upload the edited contract as the newest version.
