Locating the Side Menu
The example shown is the home page for a teacher account.
Section 6: The Connections Block
The sixth section of the side menu includes access to Connections. This section allows you to connect with colleagues in your school or district, as well as with users of District and School Connect in other districts.
In the Teacher, School Admin, and District Admin roles:
Colleagues Menu Option
In District and School Connect, users can collaborate with their colleagues to build student actions, activities, and more. In order to collaborate, you must first connect with colleagues in the platform.
1. Click on Colleagues to open the Colleagues panel.
2. View the list of colleagues that you have connected with in the platform.
3. Click on the name of a colleague to open their Profile panel.
4. Click the green Send Message button to send an in-platform message to a colleague.
5. Click the green Search Members button to locate and connect with new colleagues across the platform.
