🟢 What Is AutoPay?
AutoPay automatically splits and pays your rent each month — as long as:
You are eligible that month
Your account is in good standing
Rent is posted in your tenant portal
When enabled, Livble will attempt to split and pay your rent on:
The 1st of the month, or
The business day before, if the 1st falls on a weekend or holiday
AutoPay is optional and fully controlled by you.
⚙️ How AutoPay Works
When AutoPay runs:
Livble checks your monthly eligibility
Livble confirms rent is posted in your tenant portal
Your rent is paid in the amount shown in your portal at that time
Rent payments occur at 3pm ET on the 1st or the business day prior
Your first installment and origination fee are debited immediately
Your remaining installments follow your most recent installment structure
🔁 Turning AutoPay On or Off
Turn AutoPay On
You can enable AutoPay:
While manually splitting rent (checkbox during review or toggle after split), or
In Account Settings
⚠️ You must split rent manually at least once before AutoPay can be enabled. AutoPay will always use your most recent installment plan structure.

Turn AutoPay Off
Disable it anytime in Account Settings.
You will need to split rent manually going forward.
🔄 What Happens Each Month
Before AutoPay runs, Livble checks:
Monthly eligibility
Outstanding balances
Rent posted in your tenant portal
You may see one of the following statuses:
🗓️ Scheduled
You’ll receive a reminder 3 days before the 1st (or business day before) confirming AutoPay is scheduled for the 1st or the business day prior.
✅ Successful
AutoPay ran as expected.
Your rent was paid based on the amount shown in your tenant portal
Your first installment and origination fee were debited
You’ll receive an email confirmation
Your remaining installments will follow your selected installment schedule.
⏭️ Skipped
You’ll be notified 3 days before the 1st if AutoPay will be skipped.
Common reasons:
Outstanding balance with Livble
No rent posted in your portal
Not eligible that month
If skipped:
❌ Rent is not paid
🔁 You must split rent manually
✅ AutoPay remains enabled for future months (as long as you’re eligible)
❌ Failed
AutoPay attempted to run, but payment did not go through.
You’ll receive notification on the 1st (or business day before).
Common reasons:
Insufficient funds
Disconnected bank account
If failed:
❌ Rent is not paid
🔁 You must manually split rent after resolving the issue
✅ AutoPay remains enabled for future months (as long as you’re eligible)
🗓️ How AutoPay Chooses Installment Dates
To enable AutoPay, you must first manually split rent at least once.
AutoPay then uses that installment plan as the template for future months.
Updating Installment Dates
After a split-rent plan is activated:
The Edit option becomes available 3 days after your split date
Only future unpaid installments can be changed
🚨 First Installment Rule
Your first installment cannot be changed or rescheduled.
When AutoPay runs:
The first installment is debited immediately
Your origination fee is debited at the same time
This occurs on the 1st (or business day before) when rent is paid
💳 Can I Split Manually Before AutoPay Runs?
Yes.
If AutoPay is enabled, you can still split rent manually anytime before it runs.
You will not be charged twice
AutoPay will not run that month
⚠️ Important: Have Funds Ready
When AutoPay runs, Livble debits:
Your first installment
Your origination fee
If sufficient funds are not available at processing time, AutoPay will fail.
To avoid failure:
Keep funds available before the 1st
Ensure your bank account is connected
