When a driver completes a driving log and selects your company as the TLS holder, you'll receive an email notification. To access the driver's log data, you'll need a Log Ninja company account with a paid subscription.
This article explains how to create your account, and subscribe to drivers.
Were you receiving driver logs by email before 10 March 2026?
If your company was set up before 11 March 2026, you may have previously received completed driver logs as free email attachments. This has changed.
As of 11 March 2026, log attachments are no longer included in notification emails.
You'll still receive an email each time one of your drivers completes a log under your company, but the log itself will no longer be attached.
To access driver logs, you now need to:
Create an account on the Log Ninja Company Portal, or
Ask the driver to download their log from the Log Ninja app and email it to you directly
If you choose to use the portal, a paid subscription is required. This is a change from the previous system where logs were provided at no cost.
We've made this change to provide a more reliable and centralised way for you to access log data, searchable, downloadable, and available on-demand from one dashboard.
Create your company account
Sign up using the same email address where you received the driver log notification
Fill in your company details
Important: You must use the same email address that received the notification. This is how Log Ninja links drivers' logs to your company account.
Subscribe to your drivers
Once your account is set up:
You'll see a list of drivers who have recorded logs for your company
Select the driver(s) you want to subscribe to
Once subscribed, all logs recorded by your driver(s) for your company will be visible in your dashboard.
View and download driver logs
From your dashboard, you can:
View logs: see full log details for any subscribed driver
Download logs: export individual logs or logs grouped by CWP as PDFs/CSV
Filter and search: find logs by driver, or date
Request logs directly from a driver
If you'd prefer not to subscribe right away, you can ask your driver to share their log with you directly.
Drivers can do this from the Log Ninja app:
Open the app and go to Log History
Tap on the completed log
Download it and email or share it with you
This is a manual process and relies on the driver sending each log individually. For ongoing, automated, on-demand access to all logs, the Company Portal subscription is the recommended approach.
How driver subscriptions work
One driver = one subscription.
You manage subscriptions from your Drivers list by clicking Subscribe or Unsubscribe next to a driver's name.
Detail | Amount |
Per driver, per month | $7.99 |
