In this article, we’ll explore a few examples to help you go even further with automations using the Mission Completed trigger.


Increase your customer loyalty

You can activate automations based on the "Mission Completed" trigger to strengthen your customers’ engagement and loyalty.

Add different rewards based on your VIP customers’ engagement

  1. Select "Mission Completed" as your automation trigger.

  2. Add a filter to check that the mission category is Review, Engagement, or Content.

  3. Add a Yes/No condition:

    • If the customer is in the Bronze tier → award 20 points.

    • If the customer is in the Silver tier → award 40 points.

    • If the customer is in the Gold tier → award 80 points.

Offer points based on customer engagement

  1. Select "Mission Completed" as your automation trigger.

  2. Add a filter to target only customers with a specific Shopify tag.

  3. Add a Yes/No condition with a filter on the number of completed missions, checking whether the customer has already completed 5 missions:

    • Yes → give 50 points.

    • No → give 25 points.

Offer extra points to customers who made in-store purchases

  1. Select "Mission Completed" as your automation trigger.

  2. Apply a filter on the mission template to ensure it corresponds to “Make an in-store purchase”.

  3. Add another filter to target only engaged customers

  4. Add a 1-day delay before executing the action.

  5. Award extra points after this delay to encourage more in-store purchases.

Reward your most engaged customers

  1. Select "Mission Completed" as your automation trigger.

  2. Apply a filter to target only customers who have completed all “Review” and “Content” missions.

  3. Add another filter to include only customers whose average order value is greater than or equal to X €.

  4. Give a discount code valid for 30 days to encourage another purchase.

Encourage customers to share your latest Instagram post

  1. Select "Mission Completed" as your automation trigger.

  2. Apply a filter to target only the mission “Share your post / Instagram Reel”.

  3. Add a Yes/No condition and a filter based on the customer’s number of points:

    • If the customer already has more than X points, they automatically receive 20 extra points.

    • If the customer has fewer than X points, they receive an exclusive discount code to encourage them to place an order.

Create a list of your top ambassadors

  1. Select "Mission Completed" as your automation trigger.

  2. Apply a filter to target only engagement or content missions.

  3. Add a Yes/No condition to check the number of referrals made by the customer.

    • If the customer has made more than three referrals, they are automatically added to the “Engaged Customers” list.

This list will help you better target your top ambassadors in future campaigns.
