Identity verification is separate from account signup, profile completion, and campaign discovery. Upload documents only through the dedicated verification form in your signed-in Purple Cow account.
Open verification
Open Settings → Verification, or the verification panel on your creator profile. Follow the Government ID verification instructions shown for your account.
Choose a document
Use a valid, unexpired government-issued ID or passport accepted by the verification screen. The document must belong to you and the name must match your account.
What must stay visible
Your photo and full name.
Your date of birth.
The document type and issuing country.
The expiry date and the issue date, if shown.
What you may cover
The current verification screen allows you to cover the ID or passport number, signature, machine-readable passport lines, home address, barcodes or QR codes, chip details, and optional personal details such as religion, occupation, or parents’ names. You may hide the document number fully or leave only its last four digits visible.
Illustration from the verification screen: green areas must remain visible; grey areas may be covered. No real identity document is shown.
Take a clear photo
Cover optional details with a sticky note or your finger before taking the photo. Do not digitally edit or blur the image.
Keep the whole document and all four corners in view. Place it flat in good light, without glare.
Check that every required detail is sharp and readable. Do not use a screenshot or a photo of another screen.
Upload and submit
The current upload form accepts JPG, PNG, WebP, or PDF up to 25 MB per side. Upload the front. Add the back if required information, such as the expiry date, is on it. Review the images and select Submit for review. Choosing a file alone does not submit it.
Follow the limits and requirements displayed in your account if they change.
If verification needs attention
Read the review reason before uploading again. Check the name, validity, required details, and image quality. If a review is pending, avoid sending repeated versions.
For an upload error, contact support with the exact error and your device/browser. Share only the error screen, with personal details hidden. Do not send your ID, passport, password, or verification code in chat, email, or social messages.
