Submit Deliverables, Handle Revisions, and Finish a Campaign

A creator guide to uploading the correct files, responding to revision requests, and completing campaign work inside Purple Cow.

Written by Purple Cow Support

Once a business confirms you for a campaign, complete each step inside Purple Cow. This keeps the brief, files, feedback, and work status together.

Before you create

  • Open the confirmed campaign and read its current brief from start to finish.

  • Check the format, duration, orientation, talking points, deadline, and any posting or location requirements.

  • Ask about unclear details in the workroom before filming. The current brief—not an old screenshot—is your reference.

Complete the product or access step

Submission may stay unavailable until the campaign’s setup step is complete. For a shipped product, confirm receipt only after it arrives. For a funded purchase, upload the requested proof and wait for review. For a digital product, check and confirm access. For an on-site visit, coordinate in the workroom and follow the visit-completion status shown.

Never confirm receipt or access that has not happened. Flag a blocker before the deadline displayed in your campaign.

Prepare your file

  • Create original content that matches the agreed brief.

  • Follow the file type, size, and orientation shown in the upload area.

  • Watch the whole file. Check audio, image quality, spelling, framing, and private information.

  • Do not add watermarks, usernames, music, captions, or edits that the brief does not request.

Upload and submit

  1. Open the correct campaign workroom.

  2. Find the deliverable upload area and choose the correct file.

  3. Wait for uploading and processing to finish. Add a short note if useful.

  4. Select the submission action and check that the file appears with its review status.

Selecting a file or finishing an upload bar is not proof that you submitted it. If uploading fails, do not replace it with an unrelated file. Use the upload-troubleshooting guide or tell support that this is a campaign deliverable issue, not a signup or profile upload.

If revisions are requested

Read all the notes and compare them with the agreed brief. Make the requested changes within the campaign requirements, upload the revised version in the same workroom, and confirm submission. If a request is unclear or changes the concept or scope, clarify it before re-filming.

If the campaign requires posting

Video approval may not be the final step. Follow the posting stage shown in your campaign, add the links or proof for each required platform, and wait for review. Follow your campaign’s posting and live-duration requirements. Do not assume a UGC-content campaign requires posting to your own account.

How to know your work is complete

Use the status of your own deliverable—not just the fact that you uploaded a file or the progress of other creators. Once the required steps receive final approval, you may be invited to rate the collaboration. A rating is optional and does not replace delivery or approval.

Keep messages and files on Purple Cow rather than personal email or WhatsApp. If a step is blocked, send support the campaign name, affected step, and an error screenshot with private details hidden.
