Viewing Shared Asset Details

Understand what information is available on shared assets and how to interact with it. All shared asset data is view-only and cannot be modified.

When another company shares assets with your organisation, you can view and interact with them through AssetHub > Shared Assets.

1. Viewing Sharer Asset Organisation

When you click on Shared Assets, you'll see a list of company cards—each representing a company that has shared assets with your organisation.

Clicking on a company card opens its Organisation Detail Page, where you can view:

  • Company Cover Photo

  • Logo

  • Website

  • Location

  • About Section

  • Shared Assets List – All assets shared with your organisation

  • Create Request button – To raise a request on shared asset

2. Shared Asset Detail View

Clicking on any asset in the shared assets list opens the Shared Asset Detail Page, where you’ll find:

  • Asset Type

  • Last Updated – The last time the asset was modified

  • Manufacturer

  • Create Request button – To raise a request on shared asset

General Information Tab

Displays the asset description.

Sub Assets Tab

Displays the list of Sub Assets attached to the Asset.

3. Additional Asset Attributes

You may also see additional tabs if the sharing company has chosen to make them visible:

  • QR Code
Appears next to the Create Request button. Clicking it opens a modal with:

    • A QR code preview

    • Print QR Code option

    • Copy URL option

  • Parts
Shows a list of parts linked to the asset, including part names, descriptions, and documentation (if shared).

  • 3D Model
Allows you to interact with a 3D model of the asset and create spare part orders (if provided).

  • History
Displays service or activity history related to the asset.

Note:

Shared assets are view-only. You can explore the details, parts, documents, and history, but you cannot edit or update any of the information.
