How to Archive Work Orders

Archiving allows you to move closed or completed work orders out of your active list, keeping your workspace focused on current priorities. All data is preserved and can be accessed at any time.

Archiving a work order

You can archive a work order in two ways:

From the work order list, click the three-dot menu on any work order row and select Archive.

From inside a work order, click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner and select Archive.

Once archived, the work order is removed from your active Work Orders list.

Archiving an open work order

If you archive a work order that has not been closed yet, Makula will automatically close it and then move it to the archive. You do not need to manually close it first. This is useful when a work order is no longer relevant and you want to clear it from your active list in one step.

Viewing archived work orders

All archived work orders are accessible from the Archived section in the left sidebar. Here you can open any archived work order to review its full details, including procedures, activity log, asset documentation, and time tracking. The work order history and chat remain intact.

Unarchiving a work order

If you need to move a work order back to your active list, open it from the Archived section, click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner, and select Unarchive.
