January’s release focuses on improving task assignment consistency, increasing visibility across projects and templates, enhancing permission flexibility, and strengthening integration reliability.

🚀 Website Improvements

Subtask Assignees

Subtask assignment behavior now matches work assignees for a more consistent experience.

  • The assignee dropdown label now displays None instead of Unassign

  • Myself appears as the first option in the subtask assignee list

  • Remaining users are sorted using the same order as the work assignee list

User Management

  • Deactivating a user now automatically deletes any private portfolios created by that user

Search Enhancements

  • Archived projects now display a clear visual indicator in search results

  • Search now supports coordinate-based locations using a comma as a separator

Custom Fields and Templates

Added visibility into template usage for custom library fields.

  • The Custom Library list now shows how many templates are using each field

  • The field detail screen displays a list of templates currently using the field

  • Clicking a template name opens the template settings page

  • If a field is not used in any templates, the message This field is not used in any templates is shown

Cost Codes

Updated delete behavior for budget cost codes.

  • Cost codes cannot be deleted when one or more active costs are associated

Project Layers

  • Project Collaborators and Guest Collaborators can now add project layers

Integrations

Improved Deltek sync error handling.

  • Added a retry mechanism after a refresh failure

  • Email notifications are now sent when a refresh fails

📱 Mobile Improvements

  • The Save button is now disabled while a file upload is in progress

  • Increased the mobile photo upload limit to 50 photos

  • The Locate Me option is now visible and available during new project creation

  • Entering project creation mode no longer resets the current map zoom level

Drawing Mode Save Behavior Improvements

  • Save is disabled when drawing requirements are not met:

    • Point: At least one point must be placed

    • Line / Poly / Circle: Both start and end must be defined

  • In pure drawing mode (Point), users can place multiple points before saving

  • In geowork drawing mode (Point), users can only place one point

  • In geowork drawing mode, the Save button label has been changed to Next

🐞 Bug Fixes

  • Users | Table View: Fixed missing default columns for new companies that caused empty table views

  • User Profile: Guest user project counts now correctly reflect shared projects

  • Templates: Calculated fields can now be deleted after referenced fields are removed

  • Cost: Fixed duplicated records when using autofill from existing budgets in different projects

  • Custom Fields: Users can now navigate to the custom field library immediately after creating a public field
