First things first; why should I give my employees a kilometer allowance? 🤔

  • Km allowances are tax-free

Half of the Belgian employees already receive an allowance for their commute. Employees pay 0 taxes on this, as long as you stay within the maximum amounts (indicated in Mbrella).

  • No hassle to register kilometers

Bye-bye Excel files. Your employees can now register their commuting trips directly in Mbrella. It doesn't get much more user-friendly than this.

  • Reimburse real distances instead of forfeits

By reimbursing employees per km, you promote fairness and sustainability. If you bike more to work, you get more money. Simple.

  • Comply with legal corporate transportation plans

Companies in the Brussels-Capital Region with more than 100 employees are obliged to report how their employees commute to work. Mbrella now tracks this for you.

How does it work? 🗓️

  • Log your commute in 1 click

Select the days you came to work and your mode of transport. Everything else is automatically pre-filled. Directly see the amount you will get reimbursed.

  • Automatically repeat commutes

Going to the office on the same days? Plan your recurring commute, so you don't have to log every commuting trip individually. Big time saver for employees.

  • Integrated with your payroll

Allowances are automatically created for every commuting trip. They'll be added to your payroll, with the right pay codes and amounts.
