How to Set Up and Customize Your E-Commerce Menu with Menu Pro

How to install Meadow's Menu Pro on your website and configure how your menu looks and behaves for customers ordering online.

Steps

1. Go to E-Commerce Menu settings In Meadow Admin, go to Settings in the left navigation bar. Select E-Commerce Menu, then click Install.

2. Copy your embed code You will see three embed options. Choose the one that fits your use case:

  • Standard embed tag -- gives customers access to your full menu. Copy the code and paste it into your website where you want the menu to appear.

  • Carousel tag -- embeds a single product category or collection. Use this if you only want to feature one section of your menu on a specific page.

  • URL -- generates a menu link with a preset delivery address. Use this for in-store kiosks or partner locations like a hotel or restaurant.

3. Paste the code into your website Paste the embed code into your website builder. Meadow works well with Squarespace, Weebly, and WordPress. Avoid Wix and GoDaddy -- they do not support embedded menus reliably.

4. Configure the General tab Click the General tab. Add custom order confirmation messages for pickup, delivery, and kiosk orders. Add notes that appear at the top of your menu and on the checkout page -- store hours, ID requirements, or pre-order instructions. Choose between two default menu layout options.

5. Customize the look in the Display tab Click the Display tab. Set your foreground, background, accent, and error colors to match your brand. Adjust button corner radius for rounded or square styling. Choose how sale prices display at the bottom of this tab.

6. Manage collections and category order Click the Collections tab. Enable or disable dynamic collections like Trending Products and Popular Products. Use the up and down arrow buttons to set the order your categories and collections appear on the menu.

Tips

  • Set up your product categories and confirm all active products are priced before installing the menu. Customers will see your menu as soon as the embed code is live.

  • Your menu pulls inventory in real time. Products with zero stock will not appear unless your inventory threshold settings allow it.

  • Order confirmation messages are a good place to include your pickup window or a note about ID verification at the door.

  • If your embedded menu is not rendering correctly, confirm your website platform is not Wix or GoDaddy, and verify the embed code was pasted in the correct location in your site editor.
