You can use conversions to accomplish a few different things, for example:
Package bulk flower into pre-packed units (e.g. turning a pound into eighths)
Turn bulk shake into pre-rolls
Combine multiple products into another product (e.g. a gift basket with a pre-roll, vape pen and cookie)
You can also record any waste (this refers only to input that is not used and goes into the trash)
If you turn a pound of shake into pre-rolls and throw out 30g of stem and leaves, record 454g for Quantity and 30g for Waste.
A waste value must be entered. If none, enter 0.
Conversions do not calculate values automatically, so be careful to enter the correct quantities.
If you weigh out an eighth at 3.6g, you may turn a pound into 126 eighths. If you weigh them out at 4g, you might only turn it into 113 eighths. Make sure the bulk amount used and quantities created are accurate.
In the example shown below, we turn a pound of Sour Diesel into pre-packs:
Of the 454g of bulk flower, 12g is thrown away as waste.
102 jars were used to package 100 eighths (2 jars broke in the process).
82 gram bags were used to package 79 gram units of flower (3 bags ripped).
