One of the most effective ways of keeping content within Med App relevant and up-to-date is by listening to feedback from the clinicians who use the app. When clinicians hear that their contributions have been considered they feel appreciated and engaged, and are more likely continue helping to keep content relevant and up-to-date.

Med App supports this positive cycle by allowing dashboard managers to communicate directly back to someone who has submitted feedback by sending a push notification with a personal message.

Closing the loop on feedback and comments

If a comment or feedback is showing up in the 'Feedback' tab of your Action Items, you can respond to it in a few different ways:

  1. Mark it as reviewed and remove it from the Action Items: when the feedback has been resolved, marking it as reviewed will remove the feedback from the Action Items. You can always review the feedback at a later date by going to the article that it was submitted from.

  2. Add a custom note for dashboard admins: adding a note will help you keep track of, and let other dashboard users know how you are responding to the feedback. You can only add 1 note at a time on the feedback, but it can be updated at any time until the feedback is marked as reviewed.

  3. Send a notification to the person who added the feedback: you can send a push notification directly to the clinician to let them know you are responding to the feedback. The message is fully customisable and you can send a notification as many times as you want until the feedback has been marked as reviewed. If you send a notification but want to keep the feedback in the action items (not mark as reviewed), the feedback will be tagged with a 'notified' label to remind you and let others know that a notification has already been sent to the person who submitted the feedback. Note: the push notification will only be received by the person if they have notifications on.

How do these options work?

These options above can all be done independently, and adding a note or sending a notification are optional. In other words by performing one action you don't need to do all the others.

Here are a few examples of how this might work:

  • You want to notify the user you have read the feedback, but you still need to check some details before you make an update to the article. You can:

    • Send the notification

    • Choose to not mark the feedback as reviewed to remind yourself that there are still some actions that need to be done

    • Add a note to let others in your team know you are on the case

  • You have already spoken to the clinician so want to simply mark the feedback as reviewed to close it out. You can just:

    • Mark the feedback as reviewed

    • Add a note as a record of what happened

    • Choose to not send a record

This video provides a quick demonstration on how to perform the above actions:
