This article shows you how to manage your survey template collection on MedApps. You can view the activity of each template, such as how many times it has been used and when it was last updated. You can also edit, duplicate, or delete any template in your collection.

Templates that Have Active Surveys

‘Template Activity’ column shows you which templates have live surveys that are collecting responses. This can help you find the survey template you are looking for.

Not in use

If the template does not currently have any open surveys you will see a 'Not in Use' marker:

In use

If there are open surveys you will see an 'In Use' marker:

Please note: if the template is 'in use' you can still send a new distribution to clinicians. The 'in use' marker is just to help highlight there might be a survey of interest for that template.

Archiving templates

Archiving keeps your template list clean and relevant. You can still access the archived templates and their surveys and responses.

  1. To archive, click on the drop down arrow for the pink action button to the far right of the template in question. There you will see the option to archive the template.

  2. To find archived templates you can use the Template Activity filter, and select 'Archived'.

Deleting templates

You can also delete a template, however we only recommend doing this when the template have never been used or you don't ever need the responses again. You also can't delete a template that has been used to link a survey to an event.
