1. The Rent-to-Own Program
Weekly Base Cost: $40 per week, plus applicable sales tax based on your location.
100% Equity Building: Every single dollar paid toward your weekly rental accumulation applies directly toward the standard $1,500 total purchase price of the device.
Automatic Cap: The moment your aggregate rental installments reach the $1,500 threshold, your weekly billing stops permanently and you own the device outright.
Zero Commitment: You are never locked into a long-term contract. You may choose to stop treatment and return your Luma device at any point to completely halt future weekly billing cycles.
2. Direct Upfront Purchase
Standard Pricing: $1,500 retail value.
Early Buyout Discount: If you choose to pay for the device in full within the first 30 days of case creation, a discounted $1,400 paid-in-full option is available (temporary promotional offer).
3. In-App Financing
Affirm Integrations: Flexible monthly payment plans may be accessible directly during checkout within the MedcoVet app.
Eligibility: All payment terms, interest parameters, and credit approvals are determined exclusively by Affirm. MedcoVet has no visibility into eligibility criteria and cannot pre-check approval or guarantee financing.
Device Allocation: New vs. Refurbished
Rental Hardware: Devices utilized across our weekly rental program consist of a fluid inventory of both brand-new and factory-refurbished units.
Quality Standard: Every refurbished Luma undergoes rigorous clinical inspection, multi-point diagnostic testing, and comprehensive medical-grade sanitation before shipment.
Purchase Hardware: Choosing to purchase a device upfront guarantees the delivery of a brand-new, straight-from-the-factory unit.
The 2-Month Upgrade Window: If you initiate your pet's treatment plan as a weekly renter but choose to officially switch to a purchase within your first 2 months of care, MedcoVet will happily coordinate a hardware exchange to swap your rental device for a brand-new unit.
End of Rent-to-Own Ownership: If you transition to ownership naturally by hitting the $1,500 payment cap over time, you permanently keep the specific device currently in your possession. A hardware swap for a brand-new unit is not automatically triggered at completion.
