Hosting your videos with an external video platform is a great way to ensure a quality viewing experience for your users and to protect your video content from being downloaded.

In this article, we'll look specifically at using muse.ai to embed your videos.

There are two ways to embed your video content from muse.ai into your MV account:

  1. Use the video embed tool that's provided in each lesson.

  2. Embed the video directly in your text area using the 'insert/edit media' option.

Option 1: Use the provided video embed tool that's provided in each lesson.

  1. Click into the lesson you wish to edit, and select "muse.ai" from the dropdown menu under Video Type:

  2. In the Video Link section that appears below, you'll need to copy your full video share link from your muse.ai video. Go to "Videos" in muse.ai, and click into the video you want to add.

  3. Click on the Share icon underneath your video.

  4. A pop-up window will appear with your share options listed. You can choose Public, Unlisted, Hidden, or Password depending on your preferences and where you want to embed this in your MV account.

  5. Select "Continue to share" and choose your preferred video format from the options listed. We'll keep it to Standard in this example. Then click "Copy" next to the Video link.

  6. Paste this link into your MemberVault lesson. Your muse.ai video should pop up in the Video Preview box. Note, the link that displays in the box will look different from the link you copied from muse.ai -- this is normal!

Option 2: Embed the muse.ai video directly in your text area using the 'insert/edit media' option.

  1. In the Text Editor, select Insert Media.

  2. In the pop up box that appears, click "Embed".

  3. This time you'll need to grab the embed code from muse.ai. Pull up the same Share window in Steps 4 and 5 in Option 1's instructions, and click Embed.

  4. You'll want to use an iframe code for embedding into MemberVault, so click "Use iframe" in your Embed Video settings. Then click "Copy".

  5. Paste your embed code into the pop-up box in MemberVault, click Save, and you're all set!
