Great news! As of May 14th, 2025 your members can now cancel their subscription or manage their billing details all within the billing section of your MV site.
How your Members can Cancel (both for Stripe and PayPal):
When your member is logged into your MV site, they'll see a billing section available in the dropdown menu in the top right corner of your MV site.
When they click on "Billing" this will take them to a page showing a list of their past purchases as well as any subscription plans they have with you. The subscription will show as "Active" under "Status."
For both Stripe and PayPal subscriptions, your members can click on the gear icon to the right of their payment status and click "Cancel".
This will automatically cancel their subscription with you, and you will both receive a notification confirming these changes. They will continue to have access to your product until their current billing cycle is complete.

How your members manage their PayPal billing
If your member does not need to cancel, but needs to update their payment card with you, they can select the "Update in PayPal" option in the gear icon next to their Active subscription plan.
This will redirect them to their PayPal account, which is where they will need to manage their card information.
How your Members Manage Their Stripe Billing
If your member is paying via Stripe, they will see a gear icon next to any Active Status product in the Billing menu as shown above. Instead of "Update in PayPal," they will see "Update Card," which will direct them to update their card details in Stripe. This feature works the same as it has prior to the click-to-cancel update, and you can see step by step directions for this here.
If you were previously using Stripe's Customer Portal to allow your members to cancel and manage their Billing, we recommend removing this link from your MV and instead direct your members to the Billing section of your MV site instead.
