Overview

Creating booking requests for new or existing customers is effortless with Metarina. Our platform consolidates all booking requests in one organized system, allowing for quick and efficient management. This guide will walk you through the steps to create or add an external booking request with just a few clicks.


Steps to Creating a Booking

Step 1: Accessing the Booking Feature

Locate the Orange button labelled 'Create a Booking' found at the top-right of the screen. This button is available from the Dashboard, Requests, Booking, Occupancies, and Invoices tabs.

Step 2: Filling Out Booking Details

Date & Time

In the 'Date & Time' section, enter the check-in and check-out dates and times. Make sure these details are accurate to ensure a smooth booking process.

Select Customer

Move to the 'Select Customer' section. Use the search bar to find and select a customer. If the customer is not yet in the database:

Click 'Add a new customer' to register their details.

Select Boat

After selecting a customer, choose a boat for the booking in the 'Select Boat' section. If the customer owns multiple boats, make sure to select the correct one.

Note: If no boat is registered you will need to 'Create a new boat' for this customer.

Step 3: Finalizing the Booking

Once you have completed all the required fields click on 'Create' to finalize and submit your booking request.

Your booking will then be marked as pending in the system, and it will include all relevant details for the customer and the boat already filled in.
