Some users notice that on-screen text and title blocks in BricsCAD appear blurry or pixelated, even though the same drawing prints or plots correctly. This is usually a display-rendering setting, not a drawing or plot-quality problem. ANTIALIASSCREEN is a system variable in BricsCAD that controls the graphical smoothness on display, with values ranging from 1 (default) to 5 (maximum). Altering this value from its default will usually correct the problem. Follow the steps below:
Open BSB or BricsCAD.
At the command line, type ANTIALIASSCREEN and press Enter.
Set the value to 5.
Regenerate the drawing or restart the application if the display doesn't update immediately.
Adjust manually to determine the ideal value for your display.
This setting only affects on-screen display quality — it does not affect plotted or printed output, which uses a separate rendering path.
