Before picking an order on the Access Mintsoft App, a Batch must be created and a picking type assigned. Once the order is in a batch, below is a step-by-step guide for some of the commonly used picking methods in Mintsoft, the steps taken to pick an order will be similar for each picking type:

Bulk Pick

To pick a batch using the bulk picking method on the Access Mintsoft app, please follow the steps below:

  1. Within the Access Mintsoft app select Batch Picking.

  2. Scan or select the Batch then select Confirm.

  3. Scan or Input the Tote ID used.

  4. Next, scan the Product Barcode.

    • It will show which Location to pick the item from.

  5. Then, confirm the Quantity to pick.

  6. Then select Confirm Pick.

  7. Repeat Steps 4-6 for additional products until all items are picked.

  8. The order will show under the Picked tab and is ready to be packed and dispatched.

Multi-Tote

To pick a batch using the Multi Tote picking method on the Access Mintsoft app, please follow the steps below:

  1. Within the Access Mintsoft app select Batch Picking.

  2. Scan or select the Batch then select Confirm.

  3. Next, scan the Product Barcode.

    • It will show which Location to pick the item from.

  4. Scan or Input the Tote ID used.

    • Alternatively, select Skip and scan a Goods Out location barcode instead.

  5. Repeat Steps 3-4 for additional products until all items are picked for the first order.

  6. Once all items are picked for the first order, you will start scanning the items for the next order.

  7. The first Product you scan for the next order will require a new Tote ID to be used.

  8. Scan the Product Barcode.

    • It will show which Location to pick the item from.

  9. Scan or Input the Tote ID used.

  10. Repeat Steps 8-9 for additional products until all items are picked.

  11. Once complete, the batch will show as Picked.

We would recommend having colour coordinated totes for each level on the trolley:

With a colour coordinated barcode identifier (e.g. Red-Tote-1 / Blue-Tote-1) as well:

Batch Picking - Navigation Overview

Below is an overview to navigate and search on the Access Mintsoft app:

Filters

When viewing Orders or Batches on the Access Mintsoft app you can filter by Pick Priority, Pick Type, Assignee and (3PL Only) Client, to do this please press the Filter icon in the top right corner.

Selected filters will be visible as well when searching for orders.

Search

When viewing Orders or Batches on the Access Mintsoft app selecting the magnifying glass will let you search by the Order Number or scan the Order Barcode.

New, Paused and Picked Tabs

  • New: Contains all orders waiting to be picked.

  • Paused: Shows orders which have been started but not finished picking yet.

  • Picked: Shows orders that have been picked but not yet dispatched.

Options Menu

Within the Product picking screen you can select the three dots and open the Options menu:

Within the Options menu, you have the following actions to choose from:

  • Skip Product: Selecting this will prevent the product from being picked and move on to the next item.

  • Pause Pick: Selecting this will pause the picking of the order and return you to the main menu.

Skip Product - Resolving a skipped item

Once an item has been skipped you can either cancel the order, or you can mark the order as picked if you want to ship the order without the skipped item(s).

If you have enabled double barcode verification and all items are verified successfully during the packing stage, the system will automatically change the order status to Picked without any need for manual action. To mark the order as Picked you will need the MarkPicked role within the Picking-Super group.

You can mark orders as Picked using the Mark Picked option either from the Orders Overview screen via the Bulk Action or from the Scan Actions screen.

Flagging Locations continued

Once a location has been flagged this will then send a notification to the Warehouse Admin(s) advising the Location ID as well as the user who flagged it.

Example

Location ID: 12345 (name) was flagged when picking by user@email.com-API. Please investigate.
